Yes, a bigger part of our offer is related to smart home devices installations. Although we only install battery powered versions because it is beneficial for both the customer and the installer. Yes, mostly products made by Ring, because we think that Ring doorbells are one of the best on the UK market and we use them by ourselves.

4. Do I need an electric installation to install a smart video doorbell?

No you do not. There are two types of smart video doorbells, battery powered and electric. We personally recommend and install battery powered versions simply because they involve less technical issues and the maintenance and aftercare is less expensive. Battery-powered doorbells can be wired to solar panel chargers which provide a trickle charge to battery devices.

Yes. We do recommend the Ring doorbell because we think it is one of the best on the market and we use them by ourselves.

6. Do I need a wifi connection to set up smart devices?

Yes, most smart locks, smart cameras, smart doorbells and other smart products require a working wifi network in the household.

7. Do you install smart alarms?

Yes, the main two brands that we recommend and install are Ring and Yale as they are the best on the market and have extensive customer service support.

8. How can I control my security alarm system?

Simply by using the branded app from the system provider of your alarm system.

9. Will my pets set off the alarm?

No, the motion sensors of the alarms we install are pet friendly and they will not trigger the alarm for any pets weighing under 3.5 stone – 23 kg.

9. Do you install smart cameras?

Yes, mainly from the Ring brand as it is one of the best on the market. We do install battery versions of Ring smart cameras as they simply involve less technical issues and the aftercare is less expensive from the customer point of view.

9. What factors do I need to consider when choosing the type and the number of cameras in my household?
  • Securing areas of the property that are concealed or would otherwise make an inviting entry point, such as a back door or a row of trees that conceals a part of a fence.
  • Covering obvious routes of entry, such as the front or back door or ground floor windows.
  • Watching for suspicious activity or unusual traffic outside your home.
  • Keeping an eye on vehicles to prevent theft or vandalism
9. How long does the battery last in the battery versions of the security camera?

Battery in the camera devices can last for months before needing to be charged. It can also be connected to the solar panels which will auto charge the cameras for you.

9. Can a camera record a good quality image when it is dark outside?

Yes, most of the cameras are equipped with the night vision mode and some of them are built with spotlights and flood lights.

9. Do I need a subscription to access live recording from my cameras?

No, but you need a subscription to enter videos from the back to date.
